We've compiled a list of organizations accepting entries for a variety of different awards for you!

SEDG Global Design Awards

Deadline: January 31 (earlybird) and February 14
Fee: $50 earlybird for Jan 31 and $125 regular for Feb 14
Award: Recognition
Categories: Digital Experience Content (not advertising), Exhibitions, Interactive Experiences, Placemaking and Identity, Public Installations, Strategy/Research/Planning, Wayfinding
Eligibility: Student projects must have been completed by full-time students
AZ Awards

Deadline: February 1 (earlybird) and February 20
Fee: $35 earlybird for Feb 1 and $45 regular for Feb 20
Award: Student winner receives a $5000 cash prize
Categories: Experiential Graphic Design (Wayfinding, sign programs, information and map design, experiential brand identity)
A+ Award for Student Work (Student Work: any industrial design product, architectural structure, landscape, interior space or unbuilt/unrealized concept developed by a student enrolled in a post-secondary design or architecture program
Eligibility: Post-secondary students enrolled in design; projects must have been completed by December 31
World Illustration Awards

Deadline: February 6
Fee: $33 USD per single entry; $60 USD per multiple entry
Award: Overall New Talent winner receives £1,000 and Procreate software package. All category winners receive AOI memberships for a year.

Eligibility: New Talent entrants are: undergraduate students, post-graduate students or recent graduates (entering within two years from the date of graduation)
Data VizArt Student Challenge

Deadline: February 9
Fee: Free 
Award: 1st place is $1000 cash or cash-equivalent prize to the winning team; 2nd place is $3000 cash or cash-equivalent prize to the winning team
Categories: Data visualization, information design
Eligibility: Undergraduate / graduate students from post-secondary, full-time programs in Canada. Students can participate as part of a team of 2 or 3; all team members must be from the same school, regardless of faculty or program. Teams are limited to a maximum of 3 participants.
RGD Social Good Awards

Deadline: February 16 (earlybird) and March 2
Fee: $15 earlybird for student members for Feb 16 and $40 regular for student members for Mar 2
Award: Recognition, discount to DesignThinkers conference
Categories: Designer-Driven Projects: Work where no client is involved but that where designers identify causes they would like to raise awareness for or where they identify solutions to societal challenges. Student work may be entered into this category.
Eligibility: Projects must have been completed after January 1, 2012; projects from anywhere in the world may be entered
A’ Design Award & Competition

Deadline: February 28
Fee: The A’ Design Award & Competition Nomination Fees are calculated based: Account Type, Preliminary Score, Competition Entry Period, Competition Entry Type
Award: Rewards consist of advertisement, public relations and certification services
Categories: 100+ categories

Applied Arts Student Awards

Deadline: May 12, 2017
Fee: Advertising, Design, Photography, Illustration: Single $30, Series $40, Campaign: $45; Interactive: Single $40, Campaign $45
Award: Work published in print in the November 2017 issue, online in our Winners’ Gallery and Awards Archive, awards certificate, etc.
Categories: Design, Advertising, Interactive + Gaming, Photo + Illustration (there are many sub-categories)
Eligibility: Any work completed as a school requirement or independently during the course of your studies

RGD Student Awards

Deadline: May 12, 2017
Fee: RGD Student Members enter free, Non-Members $25
Award: $1000, Regional Award of Excellence
Categories: 14 Awards of Specialty and 6 National Awards of Excellence
