Membership in the GDC gives prospective designers an orientation to the business side of the profession, a professional network, mentor opportunities, access to educational events, publications and more.

GDC Student membership is available to any student attending a program of studies in graphic design. Click for information on how to join.

GDC Graduate membership is available to any individual who has graduated within the past three years from a recognized full-time graphic design diploma or degree program of 2 years or more.

There are many colleges and universities across the country that offer programs leading to diplomas or degrees in graphic design. Contact the schools in the list of design schools provided on this site under "Canadian Design Schools." Research each school thoroughly, and only consider those that ultimately measure up to your expectations of course content, reputation, facilities, and faculty profile.
