We are presently seeking a lead programmer/developer to head a project to build this consumer-facing web-based social networking site. The site will be graphically rich, dynamically-generated content uploaded by users around the globe, including text, imagery, video, music. Personal profiles will be robust and valuable, and will contain information ranging from buying patterns to credit card data. As such, the site must be impenetrable to hackers.
Experience building social-networking platforms, Open-social, custom e-commerce solutions, streaming audio and video are absolutely essential.
Languages we are considering using are Flex, Quick Silver and/or Flash, but the final decision will be determined by the candidate we choose to work with.
