National PR Advisor Appointed
Dominic Ali appointed as National Advisor for Public Relations

Dominic is currently a Communications Specialist with the David Suzuki Foundation, and lives in Toronto, ON. He has a strong background in radio and magazine journalism, with experience in public relations, writing and editing. Dominic is the author of Media Madness: An Insider's Guide to Media. He frequently writes about pop culture for U.S. and Canadian media. He has worked for TIME magazine's Canadian edition, and the CBC Radio programs As it Happens and Definitely Not the Opera. His radio documentaries have been broadcast on programs such as Outfront, The Sunday Edition, and Studio 360. He has also contributed to several print and online publications including the American Journalism Review, The Vancouver Sun, The National Post, Azure, enRoute, Adbusters, The Trinidad Guardian, Sympatico, and others. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Mass Communications and Sociology from from York University, a B.A.A. post-baccalaureate Journalism degree from Ryerson Polytechnic University, and received a full scholarship to the Radcliffe Publishing Course at Harvard University.
