We will be holding an informal get together to discuss the AGM and to share ideas as to what events/activities our members would like to see happen this summer and through out the following year.
Rhea (Chapter Secretary) and myself (Vice President) had the chance to head to Saskatoon last month for the GDC’s national AGM and we would like meet with everyone to go over what we have learned. We have accumulated some great ideas from other chapter members and we are hoping to apply some of those ideas to our chapter.
When: Thursday May 29. 7:30p.m.
Where: Bacados 2037 Park St.
Food: Appetizers and drinks provided. There may or may not be ham sandwiches.

February 28, 2008As one of our initiatives for this year, we would like to send out an informal
survey to our chapter members to find out what kind of events they would like to see. As an example, do we want speakers, educational workshops, more socials, charity events?
Our goal is to offer you as a member to help determine the kind of events that are going to not only help you as a designer,but to draw out more of the membership to these kind of events.
As we are just putting this together now, we are not quite ready to send this out, but please stay tuned folks.
