GDC National Scholarship Awards
2008-02-22
Aspiring designers from across Canada who are full-time students enrolled in two-, three- and four-year graphic design programs, returning to continue their studies, and are also Student Members of the GDC are invited to enter the GDC National Scholarship Awards Program.
The GDC scholarship program was initiated in 2003 to encourage and support students in taking their design education to a level that will help prepare them for professional practice.

Winners will receive scholarship awards applied directly to their tuition fees. The winning students are profiled on the GDC national website, the national newsletter and receive prominent coverage in Canada’s national design media. The awards are funded by Canada's top design-related companies.

$2,500 Veer Scholarship
$1,000 Adobe Scholarship
$1,000 Applied Arts Scholarship
$1,000 Aquent Scholarship

Judging takes place on 27 April 2008 in Saskatoon, Sask., following the GDC Annual General Meeting. Successful applicants will be announced on May 26, 2008 on the GDC website.

Deadline for submissions is April 18, 2008. Download an application form and submit your work to:
